Reflecting on 2024
Issue 105 l Eka’s Weekly Roundup (14 January 2024)
Three weeks into January, we’ve (almost) digested 2024, making it the perfect time to reflect on how our 10 predictions developed throughout the year.
Admittedly, we’re flipping the usual script of “look back” and “look ahead” posts… but this approach gave us more time to reflect and think through each prediction.
For context, last year, we compiled a list of the top third-party ideas, so while we’re eager to share our thoughts, we can’t take all the credit (or the blame!) for these insights. See the original post for more info.
Did 2024 materialise how “we” thought it would…? 🗞️
On the whole, there are 3/10 clear yesses… but I’ll give us a half point for the circular economy guesstimate so maybe 3.5/10. Let’s hope our predictions fair better this year (see here for 2025)!
